At present, published practice guidelines for children and adolescents with ASD are based on expert clinical consensus with limited evidence to support them.  The development of evidence-based clinical guidelines requires implementation of consensus guidelines, careful measurement of outcomes, and revision of these guidelines based on the derived data. Progress in the development of clinical guidelines and the status of other research in progress in the ATN will be presented.
